USA/OR: Mt View Orchards – Cherry Picking
The large valley beneath the Mount Hood in northern Oregon is all covered with spectacular fruit orchards and the mist thing to try here is cherry picking. Both dark ruby bing cherries and the yellow-red Rainier cherries are in their peak right now and they are so super delicious. We grabbed a basket and went cherry picking on the Mt View Orchards Farm with a stunning backdrop of snow-covered Mount Hood just a few dozen miles to the south. What a feast and a total cherry overload!
