USA/OR: Newport – Historic Bayfront and Harbor
Newport is a fishing town right in the middle of Oregon coastline and a great harbor at the head of Yaquina Bay. The sheltered harbor is home to a caxapuony of simple seafood restaurants, several fish processing plants, awkward galleries and shops, and myriads of boats and various fishing vessels. Above all of this run a stunning old Yaquina Bay Bridge, spectacular at sunset. And Newport is absolutely a great spot to try delicious local shellfish and crabs.
