USA/OR: Otter Head & Devil’s Punchbowl State Park

Another stop along the scenic Oregon coastline is the Otter Head and Devil’s Punchbowl State Park. The punchbowl itself is an eroded yellow sandstone bowl, formed by the convergence and collapse of two sea caves under the relentless beating of the Pacific Ocean’s waves. And coastline’s panoramic views from the headland of Otter Head are absolutely stunning (assuming there is no coastal fog, which is probably less then 5% of days per year).
