USA/TX: Amarillo – Cadillac Ranch
Cadillac Ranch is located west of Amarillo, next to I-40 in the farmland field, where a dozen or so old Cadillacs are stuck nose into the ground. Everybody comes here with spray paint and goes nuts painting on these cars. There’s probably a deep layer of paint on each of them and the smell of chemical paint permeates the air for miles. About a mile east of here is a gas station with more Cadillacs and a giant statue of a cowboy defending the Second Amendment in the middle of nowhere in the field from all sort of imaginary threats – chipmunks, pigeons, and those pesky foreigners.
