USA/WA: Olympic NP – Ruby Beach

There are several spectacular beaches along the western coast of the Olympic Peninsula. It’s not a swimming beach, but rather a spectacular scenery beach – a lot of driftwood, dark grey sand, and many stunning seastacks. It’s windy and it’s cold here, but the landscape and panoramas are truly breathtaking. And there is so much ripe yellow salmonberries growing here, that you can stuff yourself to the max.
