USA/WY: Grand Teton NP – Climbing the Grand Teton Peak
Grand Teton is the highest peak in the Grand Teton Mountains National Park at 13775 ft / 4200 m. It’s a technical climb requiring moderate mountaineering and rock climbing experience. After a day of preparation and learning the skills, it was time to attempt the peak. Alas, the inclement weather at 11700 ft blocked any attempt to continue further. Nevertheless, it’s a great experience and some awesome mountain panorama views on the way up and down.
