USA/WY: Yellowstone NP – Black Sand Geyser Basin
Yet another, and often overlooked, geyser basin is the Black Sand Geyser Basin. It’s like a little brother of the Grand Prismatic Spring with Kiat a smaller size but equally stunning colors. Just look at the names of the geyser pools here – Emerald Pool, Rainbow Pool, Opalescent Pool, Green Spring, and so on. There are also never-stopping geysers – Cliff Geyser and Spouter Geyser. And no crazy crowds of the Grand Prismatic Spring, a total hidden gem.
