USA/Alaska: Denali NP – Bus Ride to Wonder Lake

Between June and September, the main road into the heart of Denali National Park is only open for rustic green shuttle buses. The 85 miles trip takes 10-11 hours with multiple stops along the way both at the observation points and to watch wildlife. If the weather is clear – the views and vistas are beyond panoramic with the majestic snow-clad Alaskan Range and the massive Denali Peak standing in the far distance for most of the way. The read ends at the Wonder Lake and the campground.
