USA/Alaska: Halibut Fishing in Homer
The town of Homer is known as the halibut fishing capital of the world. Getting out into the open ocean on a well-equipped fishing boat, your drop your fishing line to the ocean floor, over a hundred feet. Halibut is a bottom-feeding fish. Then you roll it in with the massive flat fish with eyes on one side hanging at the end of the lure. Coincidentally, I also caught a giant skate.
