USA/Alaska: Thompson Pass & Worthington Glacier

Two of the biggest attractions along the road from Fairbanks to Valdez are the Thompson Pass and Worthington Glacier. A trail leads to the very snout of the glacier, where you can climb and scramble around the massive towering ice cliffs. The Thompson Pass is nearby and offers a spectacular panorama of the Chugach Mountains. Tons of wildberries can be had here in the middle of July.
