Ben Thành is one of the oldest places in Saigon, people were trading here for centuries. It’s a large square covered market that draws thousands of tourists – most of the central part is packed with Vietnam souvenirs – textiles, lacquered woods, hats, jewelry, and so on. The more interesting part is the perimeter of the market where meat, fish, and vegetables are sold.
