Vietnam: Van Hoi Pass
Van Hoi Pass is supposedly the most beautiful and scenic highway pass in Vietnam. That kind of didn’t work out for me. Sure, it’s scenic as you start climbing up from Lang Co Bay and the view of the beach and coastline is superb. After that, there are little to no stops to see the scenery until the top where the views are a bit bland and not so panoramic and old ruined building don’t add much to the natural look. After the the top, you are supposed to see the panorama of Danang, but chances are you won’t because of the coastal fog. Still, it’s worse driving it, since it’s only about an hour depot from the highway connecting Hue and Danang.
