Zambia: Crawshay’s Zebras
Crawshay’s zebra is a species endemic to the Luangwa River in Zambia and is not found in other parts of Africa (except here and in the neighboring Malawi). This subspecies of zebra is different from otherwise common varieties of plains zebra by having different teeth and much more narrow lines in its appearance. Even in the park they are not found everywhere (although in places they graze they are quite abundant). And look at the adorable baby zebra – his/hers coloring is still light brown rather then black!
