Zambia: Kafue NP – Wildflowers
Some absolutely incredible wildflowers can be found in the Kafue National Park at the beginning of the rainy season. Massive fireball lillies, absolutely tenter paper-thin white flowers, strange plastic-looking yellow flowers, and also bizarre-looking blues. It was all a bit surreal, but absolutely stunning! And of wildflowers weren’t enough to make it feel like a different planet, we found some absolutely bizarre mushrooms (I even thought they were props) – huge brown looking like porcini but something absolutely alien!
