Zambia: Yellow Baboons
Yellow baboon is the baboon species in the South Lunagwa National Park. It’s a smaller and less aggressive species then the Chakme baboon which is more widespread in Africa. You can observe yellow baboons in groups up to 200, roaming through savanna in search of food – they eat almost everything – fruits, plants, roots, bark, and nuts from elephant dung. Many female baboons have clumsy-looking babies hanging off their backs or fronts.
