Lodges and safari camps serve quality western (mostly British-influenced food) with local flavor, while the local food markets serve simple roadside grill stuff (sometimes tastier and less pretentious then the lodge food). But you must try the famous Zambian beef – free range, perfectly aged, and super delicious. Oh, and we also tried local fruits, like monkey oranges and other jungle stuff with funny names.
