Zimbabwe: Hwange NP – Night Game Drives
Night game drives are often hit or miss – you may get a chance to see rare nocturnal animals but usually you just see smaller creatures or antelopes sleeping in open areas. At Hwange, there were a few awesome species – African wild cat (a small endangered feline I have never see before), spotted hyenas on a prowl, several owls on a hunt, and loads and loads of funny looking spring hair (a mini kangaroo-like creatures that spring on their oversized hind legs).
