Zimbabwe: Hwange NP – Sinamatella Wild Area
Sinamatella is a special area of the Hwange National Park that is a very large open plane with several permanent (pumped) sources of water in dry season and semi-flooded with ponds and lakes in the wet season. It’s an absolutely best area for wildlife watching – mostly antelopes and zebras – in large groups. Blue wildebeest in hundreds, zebras with many young ones, buffalos, giraffes in dozens, impala un-countable – they are all packed to the rim here. Besides the water, the openness of the area offers protection from predators who wouldn’t wanna chase here.
