Zimbabwe: Lake Kariba – African Paradise Flycatcher
A must-see bird on any bird enthusiast on an Africa safari is the African Paradise Flycatcher. You can’t confuse these guys with any other birds – males have exquisitely long tail, almost double the body length of the actual bird (the females don’t have the long tail and are otherwise not impressive). In a way, these birds resemble the famous Birds of Paradise from Papua New Guinea (although not related).
