Antarctica: Union Glacier Camp
Union Glacier Camp is one of the few semi-permanent camps that accept tourists in the mainland Antarctica. The tourists come here either to climb Mount Vincent (the tallest peak in Antarctica), fly to see the emperor penguins, fly to the south pole, or ski to the south pole. You stay here in a tent and eat in a larger tent under the 24 hours of daylight – the midnight sun never goes away.
