Egypt: Sailing the felucca boat on Nile
Felucca is an ancient Egyptian means of transportation on the Nile – a single sale and no ores. It’s a slow going affair and perfect for exploring the still waters of the Nile around the city of Aswan and many granite islands that cut the river into separate streams. On one side – you have the cityscape of Aswan with mosques and residential and commercial building. On the other – you have the orange sands of Sahara pushing almost into the water.
