France: Troyes – Troyes’ Cathedral & Churches

Troyes, a medieval town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is jam-packed with spectacular gothic churches and cathedrals – not one or two but half a dozen! Most of them build in the 13th century. Cathedral Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul, founded in 1206, has amazing Windows and doorways. Sainte-Madeleine Church is a great example of the Flamboyant gothic style with gargoyles. Saint-Urbaine Basilica has brightly colored checkered tiled roof.
