Georgia: Bagrati Cathedral

Bagrati Cathedral aka the Cathedral of the Dormition is an 11th century cathedral in Kutaisi and another UNESCO-listed religious monument. The cathedral was nearly ruined in absolute but meticulously restored over the years from 1950 to 2012. Today, the massive structure stand proudly under its blue domes above the town.
