Greenland: Watching whales play at sunset
I though I got lucky to see humpback whales up close in Ilulissat…. Well, the Nuup fjord experience was way better – at sunset, from a small open boat, within meters of whales, and there was a mother with a “baby” calf that I guess was learning to dive because he just kept on slapping the water with his tail. 5 different whales all feeding in the middle of the fjord and very active.
