The Great Synagogue in Budapest is the largest synagogue in Europe and one of the largest in the world. The complex includes the synagogue itself (a super ornate and elaborate building, architecturally somewhat resembling Alhambra in Spain), a museum, and a weeping willow monument commemorating the holocaust.
