Hungary: Budapest – Great Market Hall

Great Market Hall is one of the oldest markets in Europe, it was built as a dedicated produce market back in 1897 and even today is still at the heart of Budapest’s attractions. Three types of foods stand out prominently – Hungarian meats and sausages, anything made with paprika (bell pepper), and goose liver. There is tons of other stuff but the above three is what stands out and trying it here is likely the best place in the city to do it!
