Kenya: Lake Baringo – African Fish Eagle

African Fish Eagle is perhaps a distant relative of the American Bold Eagle. It’s one of the largest predatory birds in Africa and the national bird in Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Sudan, and is featured in the coat of arms of Namibia. For many – it’s a symbol of Africa. On Lake Baringo in northern Kenya, you can watch them fishing – diving for fish and lifting off with the catch in hand – an incredible experience.
