Lord Howe Island: Transit Hill & Clear Point
Two more spectacular hikes in Lord Howe Islands – Transit Hill and Clear Point – both relatively short. Transit Hill takes you to a hill in the center of the island that gives you a panorama both south to the two massive mountain peaks and north along a beautiful coastline on both sides of the island. Clear Point is a different vantage point of a coastal cliff over a beach, full of nesting sooty terns.
