Mongolia: Tsetserleg town
Tsetserleg is the capital of the Arkhangai province in the west-central Mongolia – a mountainous region with beautiful valleys, forests, and volcanic past. The town sits in one of such valleys with great views from the surrounding hills. Galdan Zuu Temple is perched high above the town with a long staircase leading up to the top. At the bottom below the temple is the museum of Archangai, preserving old traditional palace buildings and architecture.
