Sri Lanka: Diyaluma Falls
Diyaluma Falls is a spectacular single drop waterfall that is the second highest in Sri Lanka at 220 m (720 ft) high. The water pours down from the Sri Lankan highlands plateau down in a spectacular fashion over the black basaltic rocks. It takes some rock scrambling to get to the bottom of the falls where you can look up (and hope no rocks hit you in the face) and gaze at the nature’s power while getting absolutely soaking wet.
