Iceland: Vigdelmar Lava Cave

Vigdelmar Lava Cave is a lave tube that you can enter (wearing a protective hat). The tube was formed in an active lava flow about 900 years ago is 1585 m long. The biggest attraction here are the ice stalactites and stalagmites that stay frozen well into the summer.
