Canada/AB: Banff NP – Plain of Six Glaciers Hike above Lake Louise
Plain of Six Glaciers is one of the most popular and spectacular hikes in the Banff National Park. The steep trail (over 1500 ft of elevation gain) takes you high up into the alpine zone above the Lake Louise to a panoramic views of the surrounding high peaks, that include six different glaciers. The hike terminates at the Abbot Pass from where six glaciers are visible – Lower Victoria Glacier, Mount Lefroy Glacier, and four other.
