Iceland: Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon – Diamond Beach
Outside Jokulsarlon Glazier Lagoon lies the iconic Diamond Beach – this is where the river coming from the lagoon brings chunks and pieces of glacial ice and scatters them all over the black volcanic sand beach. It looks like a field of diamonds. Some ice pieces are small, but many quite sizable and even giant that you can climb on top. An absolutely spectacular black beach!
