Serbia: Tara National Park
Tara National Park occupies a large swath of western Serbia and some spectacular mountains – Dinaric Alps range – and gorges and canyons and steep limestone cliffs lie within its boundaries. The central part of the park is a plateau (with some old houses and raspberry farms), while the roads leading up to the plateau offer spectacular panoramas and some twisting switchback drives.
