Finland: Helsinki – Market Square
Market Square in Helsinki is one of the main attractions on the city and has been the center of trade for centuries, and is now one of the most famous market squares in Europe.. Located right on the water, next to the harbor in one side and the Presidential Palace and Uspenski Cathedral on the other, it’s like the beating heart of Helsinki. Not as crowded or full of sellers as during pre-Covid times, but it was still awesome with all the local specialties, like chanterelles, porcini, lingonberries and blueberries, raspberries and strawberries, gooseberries, and blackberries, loads of new potatoes, and fresh vegetables and greens. And you could try all the local dishes like grilled Arctic char.
