Dem Rep of Congo: Congo River – Cruising Upriver
A full day exploration of the mighty Congo River upstream from Kinshasa – lots of interesting scenes of people traveling on the river and life going full force along this shores. Some of the scenery was a bit obscured by very hazy and smoggy air, but we saw plenty of simple boats made of a dugout canoe or a barge and with a plastic sail attached going up river in rather serious wind and waves (definitely no safe). River water is murky and somewhat dirty looking. No wildlife along the shores. But plenty of super massive barges.
