Australia: Brisbane – Cruising the Brisbane River
Leaving from the Brisbane Cruise Terminal on the south bank in the heart of the city, the cruise up the river is one of the most popular things to do in Brisbane and has been running for over 70 years. Leaving the city center, you cruise past the multiple bridge, historic and new, sleek apartment complexes that eventually get replaced by large beautiful riverfront mansions and forest. A lot of mansion have water docks and almost no boats – the result of the recent floods. After an hour of cruising, you arrive at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.
