Sudan: Sudanese Food Recap
Sudanese food is a family style experience where the dish is placed in the middle of the table and everyone partakes in it with their hands, no utensils. The dishes and cuisine are rather simple but delicious. Grilled or deep fried Nile perch with limes and onion was to die for. Ful is a national Sudanese dish and was served everywhere, it’s cooked fava beans with oil, cumin, lime, and chili. While camping – fire grilled meats with vegetables were awesome. And finally, the spicy Sudanese coffee, served with freshly ground ginger, as well as ultra sweet Sudanese tea.
