Ecuador: Mitad del Mundo – Quitsato Sundial
The Quitsato Sundial is a monument located at La Mitad Del Mundo 47km north of Quito, where the road crosses the equator. It monument not only marks the zero parallel but also acts as a special sundial indicating solstices, equinoxes and months of a year.
