Argentina: Villa El Chacon – Dinosaur Tracks

Another attraction at El Chacon lies on the shores of the Lake Ezequiel Ramos Mexía – perfectly preserved sets of very well preserved dinosaur tracks. This was the muddy shore of a lake 100 million year ago and the footprints probably got calcified and preserved over time in stone. They are stunningly perfect, almost like molded a few years ago. Special observation platform have been built to observe the tracks.
