Australia: Blue-tongue Skink

And now for some bizarre Australia animals (its Alice in Wonderland of the animal world down here)… Blue-tongue skink, also known as bobtail lizard is a species native to Australia. It’s a quite bizarre forearm-size fat animal. It looks like a log, has short tail (doesn’t regenerate like other lizards), and a spectacular blue tongue!!! Needless to day I spent almost an hour with this one…
