Bahamas/Eleuthera: Tarpum Bay

Usually when I research each destination in advance I know pretty much about all the points of interest that are worth visiting. But once in a while you stumble on an awesome attraction that is not even listed anywhere – like the tiny oceanfront settlement of Tarpum Bay. Just a couple of streets with colorful wooden houses in various state of disrepair, several fishing piers where fishermen clean their daily catch, a beautiful whitewashed church, and panoramic views of the aquamarine blue of the calm waters off the western side of the Eleuthera island.
