Bahrain: Bahrain National Museum – Wax Figures

There are two large halls at the Bahrain National Museum dedicating to showcasing traditional life in Bahrain prior to discovery of oil in 1930s and the raid modernization that followed. One hall shows all the traditional trades – fishermen, souq traders, pearl divers, blacksmiths, barbers, bakers, spice sellers, preachers, and so on. Another hall shows various scenes from traditional life – weddings, schools, households, and so on and so forth. All the exhibits are very elaborate and informative.
