Botswana: Epic Sunrise at Savuti
The sunrises at Savuti Channel are truly epic – the air is crisp and chilly and the sun rises behind the dead trees of the savanna slowly, painting the sky orange then red then yellow. It’s still and quiet around – not even birds are chirping yet given how chilly the air is. I had to wake up at 5:00am for this, worse then going to work, and then freezing my ass off photographing this – but it’s clearly totally worth it!
