Cambodia: Banteay Srei & Banteay Samre

Banteay Srei looked spectacular at sunrise, this 10th century temple is known as Pink Temple as it’s built from red sandstone. The temple is rather small but it has amazing cultures and elaborate decorative wall carvings, perhaps some of the best in the entire temple complex. Banteay Samré is located nearby and is grey and less appealing color-wise, but also has fantastic carving and sculptures.
