Canada/Ontario: Algonquin PP – Camping at Canisbay Lake

Algonquin Provincial Park deep in the Ontario midlands is one of the premier places in the world to see changing fall foliage. Algonquin is the oldest provincial park in Canada, established way back in 1893, as a true jewel of Canadian wilderness. It’s been on my bucketlist for a long time. It’s a rather long way of getting here but totally worth it. Why not to go an extra step and become one with nature and camp a night (a rather cold one) deep in the park near a spectacular lake surrounded with equally spectacular autumn red and yellow trees as far as the eye can see?
