Canada/Manitoba: Driving in Search of Polar Bears
You can drive out into the tundra on your own, which is not really a good idea since the polar bears are quite aggressive when hungry. Well, I did it before I learned about the dangers, so it made for some fantastic polar bear photo-hunting in the open tundra with your own pickup truck and posing for pictures with them only a few feet away. Insane? Pretty much!
