Chatham Islands: Beach at Stone House
The landscape of high sand dunes and cliffs and aquamarine ocean and white beach at the remote Stone House is absolutely breathtaking. Utterly desolate and remote. While it looks stunning and tropical, it’s hardly swimmable because of too many great white sharks in the water, and not the warmest water and high winds. I was hoping to spot some albatrosses, but only gulls came out to greet me.
