Chile: Black-necked Swans in the Straight of Magellan
Black-necked Swans (Cygnus melancoryphus) are endemic to Patagonia and in Puerto Natales you can spot hundreds of them on the Strait of the Magellan. They are slightly smaller then their European or America white swan relatives, but appear even more graceful and unusual given the pitch black necks and bright red beaks.
