China: Beijing – Temple Of Heaven

Temple of Heaven is another historic UNESCO World Heritage site in Beijing – this is where all the emperors would come for annual events of prayers and celebrations of harvest and other events. It’s a massive complex with a large square and the temple in the middle (Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests). The other two major halls are Imperial Vault of Heaven and Circular Mound Altar.
